Jokisch Anti-Spatter and Nozzle Dip Product

Design:

Jokisch LB-100 Liquid is a non-toxic liquid anti-spatter that stops spatter every time while leaving no residues that inhibit further processing such as painting or galvanizing. Jokisch LB-100 Liquid leaves no spatter on the workpiece and no pinholes or porosity in the weld seam. Welders working with stainless steel will appreciate the ease with which the stains and oxides are removed, as well as the lack of spatter.

Safety:

Jokisch LB-100 Liquid contains no chlorinated solvents or potentially dangerous propellants. Many anti-spatters contain methyl chloride, a potential carcinogen, and some aerosols use a propane butane propellant. Jokisch LB-100 Liquid is a non-toxic liquid vegetable oil-based anti-spatter, and due to its non-aerosol form removes a potential hazardous container from the workplace. Jokisch LB-100 Liquid produces no hazardous or annoying fumes, even when used in confined or poorly ventilated areas.

Performance:

Jokisch LB-100 Liquid is unique in its formulation in that it not only stops spatter, but also leaves no sticky gummy residue. Most anti-spatters available fail at one or the other criteria. This criteria is essential when using robotic welders where residual build-up and spatter on the product, jigs and fixtures can cause a multitude of problems. Jokisch LB-1OO Liquid can also be used when plasma cutting, especially on pipe.

Painting:

Jokisch LB-100 contains no silicones or any other ingredients that may affect painting or any other further process such as galvanizing or plating. Due to environmental concerns, paints have also changed from being primarily oil-based to being water-based and many conventional anti-spatter residues cause lack of paint adhesion, "fish eyes," as well as "bleeding". Jokisch LB-100 causes no such problems.

Consumption:

Jokisch LB-100 Liquid should be applied sparingly, preferably applied with the hand-held Jokisch HSL-1 Aluminum Sprayer which will spray on just a light dusting on the areas where spatter is a concern. Many anti-spatters need to be applied quite heavily to be effective; Jokisch LB-100 when sprayed heavily will produce no negative results, although there is no need for such a heavy application. Jokisch LB-100 Liquid can also be sprayed into nozzles to prevent spatter build-up in this area.

Availability:

Jokisch LB-100 Liquid is available in a Pre-Mixed Liquid form (LB- 100P) or as a Concentrate (LB-100C) which needs to be mixed at a ratio of 3 parts water to 1 part LB-100C. Both products are available in 1 gal, 5 gal, and 55 gal containers or drums.
