Jokisch SKS

Design:

Jokisch SKS is a fast emulsifying, transparent, synthetic, water soluble concentrate. SKS has been designed exclusively for grinding, especially carbide. Jokisch SKS contains an active stabilizing ingredient, preventing cobalt leaching. Jokisch SKS addresses grinding concerns, keeping grinding wheels clean and aggressive while containing strong corrosion inhibitors to prevent rust. Jokisch SKS is extremely stable with a long life. This reduces dumping, and provides a safe working environment. Jokisch SKS keeps machinery clean and does not affect machine paint. Guaranteed not to "leech" cobalt from carbide.

Safety:

Jokisch SKS does not contain hazardous ingredients and is chemically balanced. Jokisch SKS reduces the risk of skin irritation, respiratory ailments and hypersensitivity. Jokisch does not use extra stabilizers or need hazardous biocides which are sometimes called perfumes, deodorizers or tea bags to control rancidity, and keep the coolant stable. SKS is chlorine and sulfur free.

Performance:

Jokisch SKS is manufactured to provide a maximum cooling effect while grinding all materials, especially carbide, glass and graphite.

pH:

Jokisch SKS has a pH between 9.0 - 9.5. This prevents rusting of machine, fixtures and parts. Jokisch SKS can also be used as a corrosion inhibitor at a 2% mix (1:50)

Foam:

Jokisch SKS has very strong anti-foaming agents. It is well suited to grinders which require a strong anti-foaming coolant especially for maximum performance during high pressure coolant feeds.

Consumption:

Jokisch SKS does not evaporate. Due to its unique formulation it reduces coolant consumption by 50% or more. When coolant must be replaced, a refractometer (RHB-32) is recommended for proper coolant maintenance. A 1:35 - 1:50 parts coolant/water mix ratio is optimum, with a "top-off" mix suggested at 1:80.

Disposal:

Jokisch SKS is extremely stable, and will not need to be disposed of as often. We recommend changing the coolant once a year or using an extremely efficient filtering system. Jokisch SKS is chlorine-free thus reducing disposal costs.
