AERO2-MAT OXYGEN INDICATOR
Introduction:
The Intercon Aero2-Mat 4115 Series of oxygen indicators accurately
measures oxygen content down to 1 part per million (ppm) in a
lightweight and sturdy design.
Other oxygen indicators with a read-out
capability of only 0.1% (1000 ppm) or even 0.01% (100 ppm) are not
accurate enough to do most precision welding which is done below 70 ppm.
This quality control is necessary, as discoloration due to high oxygen
levels will limit corrosion resistance and lead to weld damage or even
failure.

Features:
The 4115 Series uses an efficient electrode and electrolyte solution
to accurately measure rest oxygen contents. This allows the unit to
read values from 100% (outside air) down to 1 ppm in a time frame of
less than 5 minutes.
We recommend continuous oxygen monitoring while
welding to prevent quality failures due to a gas or purge problem. The
oxygen indicator comes complete with a probe for root gap inspections.
During butt welding constant air monitoring is accomplished with the
bulkhead fitting supplied with the unit.
